The 2020 edition of the SKI-HI Language Development Scale (LDS) can be used with any child/family in Early Intervention using any communication approach.  This latest 3rd edition continues with the same basic administration and scoring procedures but now includes very helpful new and updated information such as:  American Sign Language (ASL) milestones to more effectively assess early ASL development, more specific definitions and examples, updated references, additional data reporting options, information on sharing results with families, descriptions of ASL principles, rules, and gloss referred to in the Scale, etc.  The Scale is easy to use, research-based, and illustrated.
