Description

Geometric Drawing Stencils is an accessible set of manipulatives and 3D printable files that students who are blind or low vision can use to draw common shapes and functions. This collection of durable geometric stencils includes circles, ellipses, parallelograms, trapezoids, triangles, and more! Also included are six tactile drawing strips. The tactile measurement marks (in inches and centimeters) allow students to draw line segments and polygons with exact-length measurements. All geometric stencils and drawing strips are backed with micro-suction tape so they stick to the working surface while students are tracing, which frees up your students’ hands for drawing and measuring.

Among the 3D printable files are 14 stencils for drawing graphs of quadratic, radical, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. As your student progresses through their math studies, you can use a 3D printer to create new stencils as needed.

Unlike commercially available stencils, the components of Geometric Drawing Stencils are fully accessible to students who are blind or low vision. With use of micro-suction tape, tactile marks, and great durability, Geometric Drawing Stencils are designed to enable your students to draw tactile shapes and functions independently.
